Kuwait Energy visit SEFtec for Factory Acceptance Test

Last week SEFtec had the pleasure to welcome Kuwait Energy (KEBL) for a Factory Acceptance Test.

For the past 9 months SEFtec has been working with Kuwait Energy to develop a state-of-the-art 10,000m2 fire training ground near Basra, Iraq. The project has involved SEFtec consulting on the overall fireground layout, detailing the prop designs, and manufacturing the fire control systems and some of the fire props. The remainder of the props have been produced locally using SEFtec designs.

The system developed by SEFtec for this project includes modular fire control cabinets that can each create multiple fires. The SEFtec control systems will slot into place and provide an integrated control system for the site. The modular fire control system developed by SEFtec can be integrated into props of any size and configuration, on new or existing firegrounds.

After reviewing the detailed plans for the fireground, the KEBL representative reviewed all the equipment on the factory floor and witnessed a live demonstration of the props. All the equipment will soon be packed up and shipped to site.
