This month a SEFtec commissioning team travelled to CFMA (Centro de Formação Marítima de Angola), a company of the Sonangol group. The team commissioned two new training systems, a Configurable HUET and a TEMPSC, complete with accompanying lifting systems and gantries.
A Configurable HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Trainer) is used to train helicopter crew and passengers in the correct evacuation procedures in the case of a water landing.
A TEMPSC (Totally Enclosed Motor Propelled Survival Craft) trainer is used to train offshore workers in how to board and launch a platform TEMPSC if they ever need to evacuate from their offshore platform.
